Educator

Luther began teaching computer applications in 1987, just after receiving a high school teaching certification. In 1990, he accepted a position with Idaho’s Department of Health and Welfare and became their primary PC applications instructor. In 1992, Luther became a WordPerfect certified instructor, one of only 150 in the United States.

Luther eventually transitioned to teaching Microsoft applications and soon earned Microsoft Office Master Instructor status. In 1997, started his own company to train users on PC applications, accounting, and medical office procedures.

 

In 2010, Luther transitioned to teaching college students beginning as an adjunct at Northwest Nazarene University, Boise State University, and the College of Western Idaho. In 2013, after earning his Ph.D., Luther accepted a full-time faculty position at Lewis-Clark State College. While he teaches a variety of business courses, his favorite is statistical methods.
